Why do you need a professional declutterer and organiser?

Most of the time sellers understand that they have to make their house look its best to sell quickly and at the right price. But some people either don't have the time or inclination to ensure their home highlights its best features. That is where a professional declutterer and organiser comes in.

What do you do?

Dependant on the house and seller, Room to Breathe offer several services for you to recommend. If a house just needs a little bit of help to shine, then I suggest a Home Staging Service. If a house is cluttered, then I can also help with our half or full-day decluttering package. If needed, I can also pack items away and arrange storage for the client, giving their current house some breathing space and making it easier for them during the move.

How would I sell these services to a seller?

Offering these services need not be seen as a slight on a sellers housekeeping skills. If a house isn't selling and you think this may be the reason, my services could not only help them sell quickly but comes at far less expense than having to drop the price of their house by £1000s.    I always work closely with the client to ensure their wishes are adhered to. Still, if time is a factor for the seller, then home staging and some decluttering can be done without the client needing to be available (after a full consultation prior to the service).  Another option to ensure you get a sale more quickly (and the seller agrees to the service) is to offer to absorb this cost. My services are extremely reasonably priced, and in comparison to losing a sale or dropping a price and earning less commission, is a win-win situation.
