Sustainability POlicy

What is Room to Breathe's sustainability policy?

Room to Breathe is an eco-conscious business and tries to reduce, reuse and recycle where possible.

By reducing the items in a house, the client will appreciate the home they pay for, space they can use more efficiently and enjoy the things they have decided to keep.

All items removed from the home will be either recycled, given to a charity, sold on or - if no other option is available - responsibly removed and disposed of. Storage the client already owns is usually able to be repurposed and reused to store items the client has decided to keep.

However, if storage is entirely inappropriate, this can also be sold on or recycled in some way. Room to Breathe tries to minimise the use of single-use plastic and sources her storage and other items within her toolbox from ethical and sustainable sources where available.

Room to Breathe is registered as a licenced Waste Carrier by the Environmental Agency and will only dispose of waste in the appropriate places.
